Growing up on a dairy farm in northern Victoria, I was inspired to write after meeting a great author who lived on another farm just down the road, (not to mention selling her so many school fundraising chocolates in the process). After writing my first short story, I haven’t looked back.
Since leaving the farm I have tried my hand at many things, from being a waiter to running a core shed on a mine site. Through it all writing has been a passionate hobby and one I continue to indulge in as often as possible.
After a stint working as a geologist in Mount Isa, a remote town in outback western Queensland, I swapped the heat and rugged landscape for the city and now spend my time mowing roadsides for the council.
