Resources for Parents to discuss addiction

Talking to children about addiction is not an easy feat. We have to enable our children to see the true nature of life at times. Open discussion on addiction and mental health gives them the tools to know when something is wrong. This enables an open space for discussions to be pointed directly toward awareness. There are some amazing resources to help you talk to your children. The following sites are highly recommended for good resources:

Remember that you need to never accuse your child of doing drugs without evidence. ADDRESS issues on addiction early, quickly, and get them help.

NEVER confront. Discuss and talk about what’s going on. Don’t assume things. Consult your local doctor to get some help, seek out counseling, and remember there is hope.
